As if a good game starring mickey mouse wasn't hard enough to believe...

This week's games are 2 unexpectedly good platformers starring Mickey Mouse.

World of Illusion- Sega
As either Mickey or Donald, escape from a magic world that you've blundered into. Yeah, the plot's boring, but the gameplay is great. Anyways, the Controls:

A is Run. Better get used to holding it, there's no reason not to run. B swings a cape to stun/kill enemies. C is jump, or crawl if you're ducking. Pretty simple, really.

The game also features different levels depending on whether you play as Mickey, Donald, or 2 player Co-Op. Play as Mickey first, his levels are way easier than Donald's.

Fun: 7 out of 10. Great, varied level design, tight controls, and excellent music throughout.
Difficulty:
Mickey's Path: 2/10. You aren't likely to die outside the cloud level.
Donald's Path: 4/10. Mostly the same as Mickey's, but a few of his unique levels are a BITCH.
Co-Op: 1/10. You both have to die to get reset. Otherwise the dead player will just respawn at a checkpoint.

Mickey Mania:
Unlike World of Illusion, this game is based directly off old cartoons. Each level is a different Disney cartoon in chronological order, starting from the black-and-white Steamboat Willy. Much like W.o.I., the  music is great, and the graphics are AMAZING for the Genesis.

The controls are even simpler than W.o.I.: A or C jumps, B throws a marble(If you have any).

Fun: 7/10. Really good platformer.
Difficulty: 5/10.  Actually a bit tricky at times.

Get em' here.
